have you gotten it to work?
My transactions seem to be going through just fine. It was kind of a surprise to have it show up, actually. I have a regular PNC checking account too that has been in there for a while. Then one day I saw all of my Virtual Wallet transactions start to show up and there it was in my accounts list. Maybe try just adding it as a regular PNC account if the Virtual Wallet option doesn’t work?
It worked for me for about a week a few months ago. I was surprised (and excited!) when it showed up, but it soon stopped working and mint hasn’t been able to grab an update to my virtual wallet account since.
Yeah, it looks like the transactions haven’t been pulled in since April 21. What a tease.
I got this reply from mint.com support today:
Dear Jon,
Thank you for contacting Mint.com.
Note: We cannot support Flash Player post login for PNC virtual wallet.
The error code being returned indicates that our provider currently can’t support the login requirements by the financial institution you’re trying to add. We are, unfortunately, able to support the addition of products from that account at this time. We will remove the site from our search results soon.
Thank you,
Charmaine Silvestre

I’m not sure who’s fault this is but I’m thinking it may be PNC based on the fact that they claim you won’t need any other banking software. I may switch back to a regular account. The Flash interface is really getting on my nerves anyway.
Yes sadly it’s PNC’s fault for using a flash(fancy) login screen. It looks nice but its a b**** to deal with programmaticaly. Maybe they will create a seperate, regular login screen for bots?
There’s an announcement at the top of my PNC Virtual Wallet account that says it officially supports mint.com now. Mint was able to log into my PNC account but the account balances were still wrong. Looks like the same balances I had from months ago when it seemed like it was working but never updated anything after that.
So I removed the old accounts and added it again and now it seems to be working. It pulled in the correct balances and all transactions. Very exciting! Let’s hope it stays this time…
